Q: What are the payment options available to me for making purchases on OC Autosports?

A: Our secured checkout system accepts the following methods of payment:

 Credit Cards: MC / VISA / DISCOVER / AMX
 Cashier Check: must be in U.S. funds; please print your order or item number on the check
 Money Order: must be in U.S. funds; please print your order or item number on the check

We do not accept international checks.

Sales Tax
OCautosports.com is based in California and, as such, charges California residents 8.75% sales tax.

Shipping


Q: What are OCautosports shipping costs and terms?
A: UPS Ground base on weight and zip code from California.

Please note that for brake pads, each - refers to "1 set".
For automotive brake pads, 1 set typically includes 4 total pads.

Many product listings include more than 1 set, in which case additional shipping rates would apply.

US (Non-48: Includes AK, HI, PR, APO/FPO or U.S. Territories)*


For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO / FPO or U.S. Territories, please use our shipping calculator to generate the cost of shipping your item.

Combined Orders
If you are purchasing items from different product categories, we will charge you the highest rate among the product categories from which you are purchasing, PLUS the additional listing at the rate of the additional items you are purchasing.

Insurance
OCautosports.com offers FREE INSURANCE on all orders!

Conditions
Periodically, we offer a special Free Shipping promotion for certain items. If your order qualifies for Free Shipping, handling charges may still apply. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions regarding our shipping and handling policies.

Ground Shipping Services
Ground delivery times shown here are in addition to processing time, the estimated shipping times quoted, and any backorder delays.
Once an item is ready for shipment, normal ground service estimated regional delivery times are as follows:
 WESTERN - 2 to 4 business days*
 CENTRAL - 3 to 5 business days*
 EASTERN - 4 to 6 business days*

*Excludes weekends and holidays


Q: How does the shipping process work?
A:
Before we can ship, we process your order to verify availability of your product(s), shipping selections and credit card information. We will process your order within 1-2 business days and contact you if necessary.

All shipments of orders received on weekends go out starting on Monday, including priority shipments. All shipping time estimates are in business days. Ground Shipping is estimated to be 2-7 business days depending on your location.

If the item you order is out of stock or will be delayed, we will contact you by phone or email you with an update on the status of your order. If a significant delay is anticipated, we will not proceed with order delayed fulfillment without your approval.


Q: How will you contact me regarding my order?
A:
Immediately after you place an online order we'll send an automatically generated acknowledgement.

You will receive confirmation of shipment within 1-2 business days, or be notified of any delay at that time. Availability of items is subject to stock on hand and / or availability of items from manufacturers. Credit card transactions are subject to verification by issuing bank.


Q: What are the shipping areas? Are there any restrictions to shipping?
A:
Orders can be shipped only to locations within the U.S., U.S. protectorates, and APO / FPO addresses. OCautosports ships to all 50 states using UPS and the U.S. Postal Service.

If your shipping address is a P.O. box, the U.S. Postal Service is required.

Shipping to Hawaii and / or Alaska may experience longer than usual delivery timeframes.

We also ship to U.S. Territories including American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Parcels sent to these locations must travel via USPS and may take longer than the 5-7 business days indicated in the shopping cart.

Parcels sent to APO / FPO addresses can only be sent via the United States Postal Service and can take 1 - 12 weeks to arrive.

Order Tracking


Q: How do I track my order?

If your order is shipped via UPS or USPS Priority Mail from our warehouse, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with specific shipping information - including your tracking number (except for APO / FPO shipments) and general order information. If you do not receive this information, please contact us for more options.

FedExTo track a FedEx Ground or Express shipment, please click on this link. This will take you to the FedEx website to see the status of your shipment. To return to this site, simply close or minimize the FedEx browser.

USPSTo track an USPS shipment, please click on this link. This will take you to the USPS website to see the status of your shipment. To return to this site, simply close or minimize the USPS browser.


UPS To track an UPS shipment, please enter one or more Tracking Numbers in the form below. This will take you to the UPS website, which will allow you to see the status of your shipment(s). To return to this site, simply click the "Back" button on your UPS browser.

Refunds / Exchanges


Please e-mail questions and authorization requests to: sales@ocautosports.com

 All returns for exchanges and/or refunds must occur within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. After 30 days, this policy becomes null and void

 Depending on inventory availability, returns may take up to 2 weeks to be processed and reshipped through our Returns Department

 The buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges, unless the Returns Department authorizes a complimentary return shipment label to be issued

 We will recharge the shipping fee for all packages returned to us due to an undeliverable address and a 25% restocking fee will be applied

 We require authorization on all incoming returns/exchanges. Returns sent without prior authorization will be assessed a 25% restocking fee


EXCHANGES

We will process exchanges for a different item based on availability. Please keep in mind that our inventory fluctuates rapidly and frequently we do not have all products available at all times.

 If we make a mistake by shipping you the incorrect item due to a catalog or warehouse problem, we will rectify the situation, either by shipping you the correct item, or processing a refund including your shipping charges

 If the customer ordered for the wrong application, then all shipping charges are the customers responsibility and a 25% restocking fee will apply.


RETURN FOR REFUND

A refund will be remitted to you via your credit card or via company check for the merchandise amount minus the original shipping and handling fees unless OCautosports is responsible for the return. If OCautosports is responsible for the return (which will be determined by OCautosports), then no re-stocking fee will be charged to the customer. Refunds will be issued as same payment type credit card or by company check.

It can take up to 4 weeks for a refund check to be sent. If a credit card refund is processed, you should see a credit on your next monthly statement.


WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

OCAutosports, in its sole judgment and discretion, will determine whether product returns are covered under warranty due to damage caused by manufacturers defects.

We DO NOT issue call tags for warranty returns. Once the item has been received and is, in fact, deemed defective by our returns department, a new item will be shipped out to you, or we will issue a refund for the product. You will not be charged a reshipment fee if the item is deemed as defective.

We understand that due to the nature of our product you may not be able to wait for the return process and you need your vehicle to be repaired immediately. You may choose one of two options:

 You are welcome to place a new order for the parts that you need, repair your vehicle, and then return the defective parts. If we deem the parts to defective, we will refund you for the new order. Please call our Sales department to place an order for any replacement parts.

 Have an ASE certified mechanic inspect the brakes and fax us a report of the inspection. If the rotors are found to be warped or cracked, we will send out replacements.

Our warranty does NOT cover the following:

 Normal wear and tear on both rotors and pads
 Brake noise, including squealing
 Any rust or discoloration on the rotor

Warranty is void if:

 Failure to install by a qualified and ASE certified mechanic
 Use for racing applications, track day, or similar use
 Failure to install new brake pads at the time of new rotor installation

OCautosports will at its discretion either replace the warranted part, or issue a credit for the purchase price of the part. In no circumstance will OCautosports be liable to the buyer for more than the purchase price of the product. OCautosports will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost of repair, or any other damages arising as the result of a warranty claim.


PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING WITH ALL RETURNED ITEMS

 A copy of your invoice or packing slip
 A short but precise note listing the reason(s) for the return and/or exchange
 If returning a part for a warranty return, please include a copy of your receipt from the mechanic who installed your parts

For your protection, we recommend using a reputable carrier to ship and insure your package. We are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise that has been shipped to us. Please retain your shipping receipt for proof of delivery.

OCautosports reserves the right and will charge a restocking fee of 25% of the retail value of any and all merchandise that is returned for a refund.


IMPORTANT NOTICE:Â Inspect condition of parts and correctness of size and application before attempting installation.
It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the correctness of the size and application of all parts before installation. Accordingly, please follow these guidelines when you receive your parts:

 Before opening the package, check for accuracy by matching the part number on the box with the part number on the invoice or packing slip. If it matches please proceed, otherwise contact us immediately.

 In the event the product needs to be returned, the box must be in good shape to return and restock. Carefully open the box taking care not to damage the parts or the packaging and keep the box.

 Inspect the parts for apparent damage and missing items. If no apparent damage and missing items are found please proceed, otherwise contact us immediately.

Mock up or lay out the assembly of the item on a clean soft surface to avoid damage to the parts. Make sure the parts received are what you actually want before proceeding to install. If unsure, contact us immediately. Otherwise, once installation is attempted, the parts are no longer unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition.
